Introduction

Instructions
Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat.

Add mustard seeds and cumin seeds; let them crackle for a few seconds.

Add sliced onions (if using) and sauté until translucent.

Add diced potatoes, turmeric, chili powder, and salt. Stir well.

Cover and cook for 6–8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until potatoes are halfway tender.

Add shredded cabbage, mix well, and cook uncovered for another 5–7 minutes until cabbage is tender and potatoes are fully cooked.

Adjust seasoning and garnish with fresh coriander.

Serve hot with rice or flatbread.
